Ball Pythons are some of the easiest beginner snakes for new owners. They have simple care instructions and are usually great eaters, unlike some snakes who either refuse to eat or accidentally bite themselves.

Ball Python Info

Ball Pythons are relatively small snakes, but can grow to be 182cm or 6ft long. They native to central and western Africa, meaning they like warmer climates. The adverage length for females is around 3-5ft, for males around 2-3ft.

Ball Python Care

Ball Pythons typically eat frozen or live mice, most owners chose to feed frozen for health or ethical reasons. They only need to eat once or twice a week. They need a relatively large enclosure depending on their size, and many like to climb, so things like twigs and logs are used. They like to burrow as well, so a lose substrate is best.
